As Nando’s grew in size there was a danger that it could be perceived as just another fast food chain. The brand needed to maintain a cool, subversive image and stand for something more than just being a chicken restaurant.
With the launch of the Portugasm campaign we positioned Nando’s as a brand that stands for all things fun, exciting and entertaining. Everything the brand did had to relate back to that feeling of enjoyment. With this in mind we created a Portugasm After Party to bring the positioning to life.
The Black Eyed Peas Portugasm After Party became a massive event packed with Australia’s A-list celebrities, generating enormous PR and providing proof of the feel good nature of Nando’s.
